A couple weeks ago, I decided to join in Goddess Leonie’s Switch Off Sunday. The basic premise: to spend all or part of the day away from the computer and internet, with or without a list of Glorious Possibilities.
If you’ve been dying to try switching off for Sunday, even if just a few hours, but you don’t know what to do, Leonie has a Master List of Glorious Possibilities you can peruse. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, I suggest doing something you’ve been wanting to do, but “haven’t had the time” to do. Whatever you do, have fun, and have a restful day.
This week, my main goal for Switch Off Sunday is to lighten up, as I have been quite crabby the past week. With that in mind, here is my list of Glorious Possibilities for this week:
- Read a cheesy, purely entertaining novel (Twilight again, most likely.)
- Practice crocheting
- Watch a funny, light-hearted movie or two (Bridget Jones’s Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason are looking like likely candidates if I do this.)
- Meditate
- Write in paper journal
- Play in art journal
- Start collecting images for this month’s dreamboard
- Nap(s)
Have a restful, happy Sunday, everyone!
